I love the short story and poetry is therapy to me.  The novel? 

What I love about the novel is the people I meet.  Characters take on wills of their own and I love to find where they will take me.  The novel is not a short story that I work on to get the proper image or grasp a moment in time.  The novel is a journey that starts out with my direction and ends up with a cast of characters simply taking me along.

I owe more than love to the novel, I owe it respect.
